Cocaine abuse and addiction has been an ongoing problem since the late 1970’s. In California, it wasn’t unusual to attend parties in the 80’s where a token bowl of cocaine wouldn’t have been provided. Today, it’s not much different. We love to party in So Cal and often alcohol gets lonely. What starts out as a little extra “fuel” for the night can turn into a problem that lasts decades, ruining relationships, health, and careers. Unfortunately cocaine is so addictive, some people find themselves in need of formal treatment, unable to enjoy life, sex, anything without blow. Matthew Bruhin & Associates can help with our San Diego cocaine counseling.

Health concerns remain one of the greatest risks of continued cocaine use. Frequent cocaine use can produce addiction and other adverse health consequences such as heart problems, metabolism issues, breathing issues, and nasal damage, amongst other health concerns. In 2008, according to the NSDUH, nearly 1.4 million Americans met the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders criteria for dependence or abuse of cocaine or crack in the past 12 months. Further, data from the 2008 Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN) report showed that cocaine was involved in 482,188 of the nearly 2 million visits to emergency departments for drug misuse or abuse. This translates to almost one in four drug misuse or abuse emergency department visits, or 24%, that involved cocaine.

We understand how cocaine use can get out of control. We also understand how to help people whose lives may have gotten out of balance. We work to help people that are currently addicted or might be partying too much, learn what to do in order to escape the never ending jungle of cocaine abuse. Cocaine use always starts as a good time, but often ends with panic attacks, sleepless nights, and calls to that dealer at 4 in the morning after swearing you were finally done. If you are sick of this lifestyle and want more out of life, please call us at 619-683-3774. Our cocaine treatment helps. Let us help you with step off the roller coaster ride and get your life back in order.
